Card Collection
- Open two expansion packs for free daily
- Get random cards from other players through "Card Challenge"

- Use "Collection Board" and "Collection Album" features to display and share cards
Battle System
The game uses simplified rules, with victory achieved by reducing your opponent's Pokémon HP to zero. Decks consist of 20 cards that you can freely customize for battles.
Card Types
- Pokémon Cards: Use moves to attack opponent's Pokémon or withstand attacks. Win by using "moves" to reduce opponent's Pokémon HP to zero.
- Trainer Cards: Provide various effects to assist in battles, including "Item Cards" and "Supporter Cards". Timing of trainer card activation can influence victory or defeat.

How to Get Cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Daily Pack Opening
Open 2 packs free daily to find your favorite Pokémon cards. Players can open packs using "Pack Power" that accumulates over time. Pack Power sufficient for 1 pack accumulates every 12 hours.
Card Challenge
In "Card Challenge," you can randomly obtain 1 card from expansion packs opened by other players. Check if any players have pulled cards you want. Don't miss special Card Challenges that appear during events.
Multi-Language Cards
Get cards in different languages by playing Card Challenge with packs opened by players using other languages. Different language cards are recorded in your collection, providing a more diverse collecting experience.
Friend Trading
If you can't get desired cards, try using the "Trade" feature to exchange Pokémon cards with friends. The "Trade feature" won't be included in the initial release version but is planned for a future update. Stay tuned for more details.
Most Effective Ways to Collect Cards
Hourglass System
Pokémon TCG Pocket uses hourglasses for pack opening. You get two free draws daily (one every 12 hours), and each hourglass reduces wait time by 1 hour. Thus, 12 hourglasses equal one draw, and 10 draws require 120 hourglasses.
Card Challenge Strategy
Choose packs from other players daily for random card draws. Select packs based on your deck needs to improve deck-building efficiency.
Single Player Battle Benefits
Complete single-player mode battles early to familiarize yourself with game mechanics and earn hourglass rewards to speed up card collection.
Daily Missions
Complete daily missions to earn 4 hourglasses, plus shop tickets from battles to purchase more hourglasses for additional pack openings.
How to Farm Card Packs
Short-term Strategy
- Complete tutorial missions until free operation is unlocked
- Check challenge list and attempt one challenge for rare card chances
- Collect tutorial hourglasses, open packs, and complete missions for about 14 packs total
- Reset data via Settings > Account > Delete Data if desired cards aren't obtained
Long-term Strategy
- Complete battle tutorial to level 6, unlock single player battles and challenges
- Complete "3 Single Player Battles," use hourglasses for packs, build strong Fire deck
- Continue single player battles against beginner, intermediate, and advanced opponents
- Complete 5 appreciation and 3 friend addition missions
- Purchase two Poké Balls for special effect cards and complete 9 advanced missions
